About The Hideaway
The Hideaway is a unique educational play space provided by local charity Hidden Treasure Trust CIO. Open for general play sessions, targeted groups and activities, courses, events, and loads of wonderful things for families in the North West, The Hideaway is available for all.
Booking Policy
The Hideaway is a charitable organisation. Most of our general play sessions are 'Pay What You Can' - meaning that customers are asked to make a donation rather than pay a set fee to visit. It costs us around £10 per visitor to run the Hideaway, that's in addition to all our other services! We ask our customers to make a suggested donation of £5 per person, but if you can stretch to it we would appreciate £10 or more. You are welcome of course to donate whatever you can. We know that many are struggling right now, and our priority is providing a safe, fun and loving environment for you to spend quality time with your little ones.Our bookings all now include a small service charge. This payment goes directly to our booking provider and allows us as a charity to save money on a booking system, and focus our resources where they're needed most. All visitors are welcome to choose 'free' tickets, and have the option to make a cash or card donation during your visit if they prefer.

As our customers are making a charitable donation rather than paying a set entrance fee, unfortunately, we're not able to refund regular play session bookings. You are however welcome to rebook at a time of your choosing, and as you choose the donation rate you're welcome to adjust this to account for the donation you've already made.
If your booking is for an event and has a set fee, you may cancel up to 48 hours before the start of the event.
