Covid testing

It's vital that residents in Partington can easily access regular testing for Covid-19. Catching the virus early is key to stopping the spread and keeping life running as close to normal as possible. Recognising that many people within the local area don't have transport, would struggle to book a test and attend a test centre, we've been working closely with PHE to work out how we can ensure that local residents can easily access covid testing without risking spreading the virus further.

Local Test Centre

Moss View School has been identified as the most suitable site in Partington for a test centre. It is a walk in centre so no car is required and you can walk to be tested. To book a test at the school you need to go through the national portal to book a space (call 119).

Home Test

You can book a test to take at home which is advisable if you have covid symptoms and feel unwell or can't easily get to the test centre.

To receive a test at home call 119.

Going forward we're working closely with PHE to enable tests to be delivered and collected from your doorstep with a nurse to help if needed.
