Education

Our unique Noah's Ark sits right in the middle of our cafe and creates an incredible environment for community support and learning. Downstairs the ark contains an education suite with computers and seating area as well as public use computers. Alongside these our educational play centre is set up to enhance the learning and development of children.

Step Up

Step Up is the name of our adult educational programme. It's a tailored package of teaching, mentoring, volunteering placements and support groups.

Training

Our unique, purpose built Noah's Ark sits right in the middle of our cafe. It houses our community education room where all sorts of additional training and workshops take place.

Employment

The connected job club provides local people with the opportunity to receive a range of employment support. We work with a number of service providers to run this service.

Kids

We run a large inclusive programme of children's educational activities throughout the day. These extra sessions help younger children to learn and develop in a way they otherwise couldn't.

Tuition

We're currently working on a new project to enable local children who have missed out on chunks of their education to catch up with free engaging tuition sessions with qualified professionals.

Employment

We think it's vital that we invest in our Hideafamily and have a big emphasis on training and development. All our staff are encouraged and supported in gaining on the job qualifications and a range of in-house training.

Resources

We not only have a huge range of resources to help support the development of children and adults, but we like to create our own from time to time as well!

Lending Libraries

Because education is so important, we have lending libraries including books, toys and digital devices so that no one has to go without if they don't want to.
