Thanks to the support of many partners and other local service providers at the Hideaway we have a dedicated Family and Education team who are responsible for supporting families and residents in our community and beyond.

All families struggle at times, and it's in these moments that we need advice, support, sometimes the help of professional services and sometimes just someone to listen and encourage us. The problem is that it's often hard to know where to find these people, especially when we're either on a long waiting list for professional help or want to make sure it doesn't get to the stage where professional help is needed. That's where we come in.

Our team have a huge range of experience and training in many areas, from nursery nursing to teaching to speech & language therapy to youth work and much more. Working together as a team, we're able to get alongside you and often your whole family and offer a range of support from a one-off to a longer term commitment of support as a 'Treasured Family' or 'Treasured Resident'. We can also make professional assessments and referrals as needed if you would like us to.

How does it work?

1.Get in touch

Drop us a line on the form below either for yourself or on behalf of someone else as long as you have permission first!

2. Chat with us

One of our team will get in touch with you within a few days to find out a little more. From there we will probably invite you in for a brew and to chat about how we might be able to support.

3. Have a brew

We will invite you in to chat more about your situation, what we can offer and make a plan with you.

4. Get help

The next step is to help! Help could range from regular meet ups to accessing a support group or taking part in some courses. There's a huge range of help available depending on what areas of family life you hope to improve.
